Away from the swirling sands of the Gerudo Desert, Zelda steps into the solemn Ancestor’s Cave of Rest, ready to mend the rifts that threaten to tear the world apart.
But like everywhere else in Echoes of Wisdom, the Ancestor’s Cave of Rest hides bigger secrets than meets the eye. To fully explore the cave, you’ll need to use all the magical tools you’ve collected so far and leave no stone unturned – literally.
Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Ancestor’s Cave of Rest
As you enter the Ancestor’s Resting Cave, the Gerudo guardian will show you the chasm that splits the burial chamber in two and ask you to relight the flames surrounding the sarcophagus on the other side.

To continue, press X to throw Tri into the giant rock in the bottom left corner of the room and pull it away from the door.
In the next room you have to play whack-a-mole and defeat the Holmills as they stick their heads out of the sand.

Carmadillos or sea urchins will do, but you’ll probably have your favorite battle echoes by now. Either way, the Holmill is an essential Echo to have as it allows you to dig through soft surfaces.
When you’re ready, move the large boulder at the top of the room aside to reveal a ladder, then climb down.

In the next room, cast a Holmill Echo on the sand and it will dig a hole for you to fall through to the lower level.
Make sure you drop down the left side first to grab the hidden chest here (which will net you some nice Golden Eggs) before continuing to the right side of the screen.

At the bottom right you’ll find an Ignizol, which you can use later to light the torches if you don’t have his Echo yet. Again, anyway, climb the ladder and then use a fire echo like the Ignizol to light the braziers on either side of the sarcophagus.

You will then be teleported back to the entrance, where the guard will thank you for your help, but it appears you cannot close the rift from here. With that, head back into the desert to find your next location.
