The unveiling of Ninja Gaiden 4 at the Xbox Developer directly from last week was one of the highlights of the show. Not only did the announcement reveal an unexpected collaboration between the original series developer, Team Ninja and the Spectacle Fighter Masters in Platinumgames, Xbox has sweetened the deal with a shadow decrease in a modern remaster of Ninja Gaiden 2.
However, to bring two legendary teams together from two different sides of the Action Game genre was not easy, but it was Xbox -Baas Phil Spencer who let it happen.

Tea Ninja producer, Fumihiko Yasuda, unveiled in a new one Game watch [Japanese] (Via VGC) Interview that the studio had tried to come up with a plan to bring Ninja Guiden back in a large way and make a new game in the series, but could not find out all the details.
Only by meeting Phil Spencer did ideas begun to perculate. The Veteran Games -director was the one who suggested that he brought three entities together for the next numbered Ninja Gaiden: Team Ninja, Koei Tecmo and Platinum games.
Before that, Koei Tecmo President Hisashi Koinuma and Platinumgames -President Atsushi Inaba played around with the idea of a possible collaboration, but it was ultimately Spencer who brought it all together.

“We have developed action games ourselves, but because we were launching Ninja Guiden for the first time in more than ten years, Platinumgames has previously made a variety of fantastic action titles, such as Bayonetta, and Nier: Automata, so we were enthusiastic about to work with them, and so we started our collaboration, “Yasuda added (machine translated).
Platinumgames has a history of supplying stellar titles built on the franchises of other studios. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, as well as kidney: Automata are two great examples of this, so there is a lot of hope for Ninja Guiden 4 to participate.
Ninja Gaiden 4 arrives this fall on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
