Look, I’m sorry, but unbeatable has the best hook of a game ever. As the head notes, this is a game where music is illegal and you do crimes. It is a rhythm game, no less, which could not really be anything else than that, right? I have been waiting for it for about four years now, since the Kickstarter was launched, and unfortunately it is still not completely ready. However! From today is the next best here: a demo.
‘A demo? Doesn’t there have any unbeatable one? ” I hear your questions. Yes, it actually had a few, but this one is the right one, the kind that you actually let play a vertical piece of the game, so that you can really get an idea. Earlier demos were mainly about trying out the rhythm mechanics of the game, while this, accompanied by an incredibly sharp new trailer, roam you a bit. There is of course some rhythmgaming to do, just not just for songs.
There are a few places in the demo where you can just jam to the sound of the Beat of the world, improvised songs to the rhythm of a vending machine or the sound of seagulls. You will also make posters and hang up to dozers about police worldflyers, and, oh, you also fight police because they suck (and again, music is illegal, you do crimes, etc.). There is a baseball minute for Hemelwille until! I’m not sure if I have to explain much more how compelling this demo is.
But I will do it anyway, because the icing is at the top that there is now also a Y2K like Hell Arcade mode, fully focused on the rhythmgame side of all this, which I am already infinitely obsessed with. Who knew games could look so good!
It is a really extensive demo that, if I would not position this if my future game of the year, would absolutely convince me to pick it up at the launch. No go, be away with you, commit a crime for some sick tunes, that is an order, here is the Steampage To make things easier for you.
