Outside of her acting and producing work, Reese Witherspoon is known to promote other people’s novels through her Reese’s Book Club. She will soon promote her own book.
Witherspoon has announced that she is writing a thriller novel with bestselling author Harlan Coben. Witherspoon has not yet revealed the title of the book, but a release says it will be released on October 14, 2025. pre-order web page. The site also says the novel is 352 pages and will be distributed by Grand Central Publishing.
“I’m beyond excited to share that I’m writing my very first thriller with #1 bestselling author, @harlancoben!” Peeler wrote on Instagram next to a photo of her and Coben. “As a huge fan of Harlan’s work, I can’t believe he has agreed to co-write a novel with me. I’m either the most persuasive person in the world or the idea of this book is just TOO GOOD! Maybe both?? I really can’t wait for you all to read it!”
Coben has written 35 novels, including “Win,” “The Boy From the Woods,” “Run Away,” “Tell No One” and the Myron Bolitar series. Twelve of his books have been adapted into films and broadcast, including ‘Fool Me Once’, which became a huge hit series on Netflix earlier this year.
Given the track records of both Coben and Witherspoon — who has turned books into series like “Big Little Lies,” “Daisy Jones & the Six” and “Tiny Beautiful Things” through her Hello Sunshine production banner — it wouldn’t be surprising if their The Untitled novel eventually reached the small screen.
