Hartnett and his family live together in rural Hampshire and, according to the Fall star, he “never expected it” after taking Hollywood by storm 20 years ago.
He said: “This is all brand new to me. I never expected it. And time passes quickly. With four children you have so much to do. In a sense, less is happening. But even more important things are happening.
“My eldest daughter is now eight and a half – to me it feels like it has happened in the last two years. That’s why I try to enjoy it as much as possible.”
