Here’s your Feelgood Story For The Weekend, Possibly: The Creators of Megahit Palworld Are Using Some of the Palbucks to Set Up A New Publishing Arm, and Their First Project As Publisher Is An Untitled Horror Game From Surgent of Tales, The Struggling of Tales of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales Of Tales, From KENZERERA: ZAU.

It is intriguing that this does not seem to be the “Project Uso” Surgent that was unveiled last October, which founder Abubakar Salim described as a reflection on the experience of paternity and “a cross between an RPG and a Beat” Em Up Power Fantasy ” . According to Salim, that game took place in the same world as the debut -Afrofuturist -platformer of the studio. That is not their new game for PocketPair. Instead, it is positioned as a game “about” the entertainment industry.

“Both Surgent and Pocketpair are good at home in taking risks” Gamesindustry.biz. “We have noticed a pattern in the entertainment industry and Pocketpair has given us the opportunity to make a horror game about it.”

This does not mean that there will be no other Kenzera game, spirit. “We are still in a sincere conversation about further projects that take place in the stories of the Kenzera universe, but this will be a stand -alone piece: a miles mark in between where we come from and where we go,” Salim added to it.

It is certainly a timely turn of events for Surgent. Although it is rated pretty well, Tales of Kensera seem to have sold much worse than hoped. Surgent fired around a dozen staff in July last year, only three months after release, and then placed their entire game division on Hiatus.

It is also a timely turn of events for Pocketpair, which are currently charged by Nintendo due to infringement of patents. In the event that you have been living under a boulder since last winter, the reputation of the studio that has the making of poachers-me-do has a lot in common with the Pokémon series, although Pocketpair, at least, seems safe against the individual indictment due to copyright theft .

Salim’s canned statements about pocket pair “take risks” sound here, although I am not sure whether they accurately describe the design of the game. Palworld is not that bad, because monster-business basic builders are going, but it will not win prizes for imagination.

All this makes me curious about the above “pattern in the entertainment industry” that is intended to target. Salim has been pronounced about racism in the games industry and community, so maybe that will be the focus. Or maybe the Pal-published game will compare you to a pair of rotund, mustache lawyers accompanied by cuddly electric piss samples that look absolutely nothing like Pikachu.
