Capcom has shared a new message from important staff on Onimusha: Way of the SwordTheir new entry in their beloved action series.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is an action game and a completely new adventure in the Classic Onimusha franchise. The first new episode of the series in almost two decades, Onimusha: Way of the Sword returns to a dark fantasy feodal Japan where Samurai collision bumps with the supernatural in advanced fights.

Onimusha is rooted in the Sengoku period, the legendary age of the warring states of Japan. The games give in history with the Japanese folklore to tell stories about warriors who use the mystical power of the ONI. These heroes are drawn into conflict with the Genma, ruthless samples Hellbent on conquering the world. The franchise debuted in 2001 and immediately enchanted players with his satisfactory sword -based fights and exciting “Issen” counter -attack mechanics. The series also received recognition for his enchanting stories that portray historical figures and real events in a dark fantasy setting. Now, grew in popularity as one of the best -selling properties of Capcom, Onimusha is coming up a whole new era.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword takes place in Kyoto during the early EDO period. In this time of relative peace for Japan, Malice happened to the old city.
