If a restaurant does well in other cities, expansion to Las Vegas is sure to happen.
The strip attracts many celebrity chefs, and the most popular chains, such as NYC’s Black Tap and Napa’s Bouchon, subsequently open here. It makes the city unique because you can try food from all over the country. It’s no NYC, LA or SF, but it’s a solid second-rate food city.
We have also never been to such good all-you-can-eat sushi spots. They’re all over town, and one of the reasons everyone in town can get such good fish is because the strip always receives fresh loads.
The only thing we miss is Korean food, but in LA we have been spoiled for choice with Korean food.
Local tip: Don’t miss Hawaiian food in Vegas. It is considered the ninth island, and because so many Hawaiians live there, there are some amazing places like Poke Express.
