“I’m going to help you,” he offered Monday night, as he tried to give the former president some tips on how to focus on the issues at hand.
But he didn’t get far, showing clip after clip of Trump bragging about the size of his audience.
“Okay, okay, that’s one of those mom-and-pop issues for the one-song voter,” he said, then moved on to other clips.
But even in that, Trump bragged about his crowds, complained about media coverage of his crowds and falsely claimed that Harris used artificial intelligence to fake the huge crowds that turned out for her events.
“Oh my goddamn God,” Stewart said, before mockingly issuing a giddy defense of Trump’s AI claim.
“For those of you at home who are saying, ‘Oh, it sounds like he’s going crazy,’ just because there is video and photographic evidence that Kamala Harris’ audience was real doesn’t mean it was real,” he said. “And then you might say, ‘Oh, well, Jon, I was actually there, I was in the crowd.’ And have you thought about the fact that you’re not real? Have you considered that?”
And that’s not even the strangest claim Trump has made.
