The Reputation era of cosplay continues. Taylor Swift headed to Nobu Downtown in New York last night (January 17) and opted for a monochrome black look with both dramatic and subtle details.
Swift was photographed having dinner with her parents, Andrea and Scott Kingsley Swift, and friend, stylist and designer Ashley Avignone.
The singer wore a black cropped jacket with chain and gemstone details and a matching skirt from AREA, a brand she often turns to for date night looks and girls’ outings to Chez Margaux. She carried a diamond-framed clutch from Jimmy Choo with the delicate chain strap across her arm and styled the look with sloppy, thigh-high leather Chloe boots. Swift also wore sheer tights with a diamond pattern and earrings with dangling Chanel logos and gold and diamond embellishments. It’s an outfit that features her usual silhouette and favorite designers, with intricate, refined details that make it elegant yet ultimately Swiftian.
Swift, of course, wore her signature red lip with a cat eye, and her long hair soft and blow-dried. Her nails were painted dark, Reputation-y hue.
