From festival drop to the Tony Awards, red carpet events and the largest lecture stars in women’s basketball – photographer Denise Stephanie Hewitt has recorded intimate and energetic portraits for Fashion. The 2025 with Gala was her fifth year that photographed for the event – and she is the youngest photographer who has ever received the assignment. This time she got deeper and she recorded some of the most striking scenes and portraits of the night.
“I still get cold shivers every year, I get the e -mail asking me to photograph it,” says Hewitt Fashion. She photographed for the first time with the 19 age, and this was her first year in when it really fell. “It is an invitation for an intimate space where people work shopping or practice their last look in real time before the guests arrive.
Hewit knew that this year she would photograph the co-presidents and $ AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, Pharrell Williams and Lewis Hamilton but did not know who the secret “special guest” would be with them. She was waiting for now and looked at Megan Tea Stallion and Sabrina -Timmerman pass by. When she saw former vice-president Kamala Harris (a modified appearance of broken white, designed by creative director IB Kamara, for her first with gala-appearing) from behind the curtains, she couldn’t believe it: “I made the shots very quickly, counted out loud to get everyone prepared and came out of the way.”
