Not long after returning from a previous break, we learned some popular manga Frieren: Beyond the end of the journey goes on hiatus again.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the latest chapter of the Frieren: Beyond the end of the journey manga, chapter 140, had the new release last week in Weekly Shonen Sunday via Shogakukan.
At the end of the new part came the news that it was popular Frieren: Beyond the end of the journey manga has gone on hiatus again after returning from a short hiatus of a few weeks in November. Before that, THe Frieren manga ended in August this year, after ending in May.
Frieren: Beyond the end of the journey premiered in April 2020 by creator and writer Kanehito Yamada, with artwork and illustrations by Tsukasa Abe. The series has been officially released in English by Viz Media and the first season of the anime adaptation is streaming via our friends at Crispy roll.
The official synopsis for the series reads: “After the group of heroes defeated the Demon King, they restored peace to the land and returned to a life of solitude. Generations pass and the elven magician Frieren comes face to face with humanity’s mortality. She takes on a new student and promises to fulfill the last wishes of old friends. Can an elven spirit make peace with the nature of life and death? Frieren begins her quest to find out.”
