Fishing JRPG Sea Fantasy launches in January 2025

Solo Japanese developer METASLA has announced an early release for Sea fantasytheir pixelated open world fishing RPG for PC and consoles.

Sea fantasy launches on January 7, 2025 for Windows PC (via Steam) and Xbox consoles, worldwide – one month earlier than the original release in February.

This is the story of two young men who go on an adventure to fish for the SeaAZ, the sea creatures of this world.

• Fishing Action – When you find a fish shadow, match the marker and cast the fishing rod. Adjust the meter timing to reduce the SeaAZ’s health and capture the SeaAZ! Don’t forget to remove the SeaAZ materials you captured.
• Adventure by Ship – Explore the vast pixel world freely by boat.
• Dungeon Exploration – There’s more than just fishing. There may be dungeons on the islands you land on by boat. Explore them and get treasures! But beware of falling…
