The finished piece included the Corsetry Demi loved so much, as well as a romantic neckline that wiped over the shoulders and was played at the waist, with tailor -made details at the front. The design was partially inspired by High Society Women from the 18th century, while the A-Line Form of the Skirt was folded and draped to remind of ancient Greek images.

The design process with the Westwood team was very practical, Demi notes. The first session was completely about mixing and matching top and smoking options. From there, the team brought the vision to a reality with detailed fittings, and not only honored every element of the design, but also the construction. Demi was part of every decision, big and small. “I love everything,” she adds.
For the reception, Demi turned into an ivory silk satin column dress with a draped corset top, also by Vivienne Westwood. The dress contained broken pearls that kick the neckline. It is called the Audrey, it offers a modern view of a classic silhouette – with an asymmetrical turn – and is intended to call up the Golden Age of Cinema.
