David Koma Berlin Spring 2026 Collection

Regardless of the expectations and ideas that you might have had for the first men’s clothing show of David Koma, it turned out to be very different in the end. The title of the collection, I love David, could have suggested that it would be a complacent, autobiographical exploration of his life in fashion. Instead, he chose to place himself in direct comparison with his namesake: David van Michelangelo. How do all men want to dress at their best? “It was my most personal collection so far, partly because I have recorded different roles: Muse, designer and customer,” said Kom the Backstage, surrounded by friends and journalists.

Everyone who is familiar with Koms -Dameswear may have had a very specific picture of what his men’s clothing would look like. Black, cool, very body -conscious and clear in his sexy message. Instead, we saw Preppy and sporty joggers, oversized Houndstooth patterns and light resort shirts combined with gray pack pants. Even the tuxedo was not black this time, where Koma sent him in a dark beige across the starting track. It seemed like he wanted to play a bit with contrasts that have never been so clear in his design language.

Rarely was it about necessity; Everything was pure for the look. And when in doubt, that often meant combining a voluminous fur coat with torn jeans and sandals. “The desire to do men’s fashion now was not only based on the desire to expand our brand. I also wanted to learn new things and train my design muscles,” Koma said with a grin. He was wearing an “I Love David” shirt under his coat.
