Ex-Basketball women star Gloria Govan dragged her ex-husband along Matt Barnes back to court over alleged unpaid child support – accusing him of violating a deal they made over their teenage boys appearing on his reality show.

This is evident from court documents obtained by RadarOnline.comGovan requested a hearing on the issue of alleged child support owed by Barnes.

Govan says Barnes owes her more than $100,000 in back support.

Earlier this year, Govan filed court documents claiming Barnes owed her child support.

Barnes and Govan settled their divorce in 2015. The ex-NBA star initially agreed to pay the reality star $20,000 per month in child support, but they agreed to reduce this to $9,983 per month after he left the league to leave.

Govan accused Barnes of dismissing the case despite receiving the legal paperwork. The judge ultimately ordered Barnes to pay the $133,000. However, weeks later, Barnes appeared in court and claimed that his ex had served him at an email address he no longer used.

The court overturned the default judgment and the exes are still fighting over the alleged support.

In her new motion, on top of the back support, which she says currently stands at $267,000, Govan says demanded $25,000 from Barnes to cover her legal costs because she had to fight him over the money. She said Barnes “is retired from the NBA, has a lot of savings, lives a lavish lifestyle and probably makes well over $1.5 million a year even in retirement. He probably has extensive savings and investment accounts.”

“I have tried to resolve this issue [Barnes]. His counter offer made it clear that he does not live in reality. Furthermore, he has refused to pay the court-ordered support, even though we have already had a lawsuit and he is well aware that there is no agreement to reduce the support.”

Govan said Barnes began paying her about $4,000 per month starting in 2020, despite being ordered to pay the nearly $10,000 in support per month. She said he decided “he didn’t want to pay the amount ordered” and reduced it himself.

In her motion, Govan said she never agreed to this. She said he told her he was “having a hard time with his girlfriend and her children living with him, and had a new child on the way, but there is no agreement to reduce support.”

In her motion, she claimed that her ex has a “volatile personality.” She said that when he “gets angry, he is caustic and makes threats that amount to extortion. It is believed that when and if he is ordered to pay the back child support, his anger will flow over, and the other orders sought should also be in effect at that time.”

“Gloria also believes the dysfunction at Matt’s home has created an emotionally distressing environment for the boys.”

In her statement, Govan said: “Although Matt has not treated me as rudely recently as he has in the past, I believe that by filing this [motion]he will return to being the bully he has been so many times, and he will threaten me or try to blackmail me as he has done in the past.

Govan asked that all their communications take place on the app for the court to see.

In her motion, Govan said, “I am particularly concerned that if Matt becomes angry, some of this will be reflected in the reality show. The Barnes gang which he has been filming for a season, and is now filming again. I had originally only agreed to our boys being involved on a limited basis, but Matt went above and beyond our agreement.”

“I therefore want a written order requiring our consent to involve the boys in any reality show, whether it be Matt’s or a show I may be filming.”

Barnes has yet to respond to Govan’s new motion.

As RadarOnline.com first reported, in addition to the court drama with her ex, Govan was recently indicted for fraud over her cannabis business. She denied all allegations of wrongdoing.
