Age of Wonders 4’s second expansion pack has been released today by Paradox Interactive, with Herald of Glory being the first piece of DLC to be released as part of it. Herald of Glory adds new items and a society feature, which is a royal way to take over the Astral Sea. Three more DLC packs are planned as part of this Age of Wonders 4 Expansion Pass.
The second piece of DLC in this Age of Wonders 4 Expansion Pass is Ways of War. This content adds the Oathsworn culture, where you can take three different oaths. The oath of justice should focus on tackling and destroying evil, the oath of struggle should wage war against the most powerful, and
the Oath of Harmony to live a peaceful life. In addition, there are intrigues that will center around murders and betrayals. Within Ways of War there are new forms called the Simians and Ogrekins, and there are four tomes that focus on discipline, shadow, disaster, and prosperity. This DLC will be released on November 5.
The other two DLCs will be released in 2025, namely Giant Kings and Archon Prophecy. Giants Kings will feature a new Giant ruler and add new items including ancient traffic and crystal-based magic from a fallen empire. Archon Prophecy will be the final pack as part of the Expansion Pass, which will include a new culture, new prophecies, and a new story. The Expansion Pass will cost $49.99/£41.99/€49.99, but each DLC pack will also be available separately. Ways of War will cost $14.99/£12.79/€14.99, the entire Giant Kings and Archon Prophecy will be priced individually at $19.99/£16.99/€19.99.
